Tester comments : |
I did some preliminary test and Takker III scored 75 to
80% vs medium strength opening book
(paradigm,Hs,Mix18,I-base,perfect9....). That s why I
took only the strongest book against Takker III beta. I
took perfect 12 because I was surprised by his strength
in the preliminary test, probably Sedat Candaz best book
ever that I test for Fritz GUI
William fuller (Takker) book is very strong, this
beta book won the book tournament. This book is very
impressive , scored 72.5 % perfect 12, 75% vs the Turk,
60 % vs Fritz9book. Really the strongest book I ever
tested for online games & blitz .
Engine book, I didn t expected that the book come
second ,Maybe it was lucky (because i m not an opening
book author and won't be). this a very small book only
12 Mo (100 % engines and probably 90% Rybka and average
2750 elo (online players) :D). Thanks to William & Dagh
(their 2 teams were finalist in the last Pal/Css) for
their advices and some strong online engine room players
for their .pgn. This book will be release probably end
December, beginning January. I will try to have a 20 Mo
opening book & tuned the book a little bit more.
Perfect 12 is a strong book, it only lose the
match vs Takker & draw strong book like Fritz 9 and The
Turk and of beat the engine book . If you didn t have
this book, I recommend you to download this good &
strong opening book. Probably the winner if Takker Book
didn t play this tourney
Fritz 9 is probably one of the best commercial
opening book. It scored well with white. We will see
soon if the Fritz 10 opening book is better .
The Turk book is a strong book. It was in the top 3
in my last 2 tournaments. It beat one more time Fritz 9
book and draw perfect 12, unfortunately it lost too much
points vs Takker & engine book. I was a little bit
disappointed because Pr Vidanovic book is one of my
favorite opening book.
