Read :

First You have to install the Nalimov TB on your Hardrive or external hardrive . If you install under the computer hardrive c:\ , writte a path like  c:\egtb  or c:\endgame  make it easy for you to remember .

---> tablebases--->nalimov path/cache

  1. Click on tablebases

  2. Click on browse and show the path where the Nalimov TB are .

  3. Second path if you put them in different files recommended if you have the 5 men TB or even 6 men TB (in case you want to play: (only 3/4 egtb for bullet)  (3-4-5 for blitz) (3-4-5-6 for long games)

  4.  Mb allow to the Nalimov TB . For fast game don 't put too much cache ... (ex : 8 Mo,16 Mo should be enought for 3-4 ) ... For long game if you have the 6 men TB you could put a lot more. :-D

-If you don t have endgame tablebase your engine will play bad endgame.

- put 3-4 Tb on a folder for fast game , 5 or even 6 men Tb on others folder (you could use them for long game)

- Don't put too much hash for the engine and for the Egtb especially for fast game

- make back up of all your original EGTB . (you never know too )

- For the 6 men TB ... if they are not complete (1.2 TeraBytes !!! lol ) it could weaken the play ... If you are not sure don't put them or at least you have the complete set :D  (some fans  have the complete set now (10 fans?? :D lol ))
