Rybka won : not a surprise
2/ Zappa Mexico 2 is second undefeated too
3/ Bright : This is a very big surprise ... Bright
SMP is very strong , on the same level than some
commercial !!!
4/ Naum 3 : Small deception : However Naum 3 perform
a lot better a long time control. It doesn t really like
blitz or short time control
5/ Fritz 11 even on single cpu is very strong at
blitz time control... I m waiting to buy the SMP
version. hope will be out soon
6/ Toga smp: 1.4.1 and 1.4 beta 4 c , not much elo
difference between these 2 toga version, remember Now
Toga is at the same level than commercial engine and
this is always free . Thanks to their authors Fabien,
Thomas, Chris ... hope they will improve it even more
... nest step is to add the learning From William to the
SMP version
8/ DS 11 : Still very strong, however it is
behinf 3 free engines ... Hope next version will be even
stronger. Anyway I like my DS 11
9/ Glaurung did so so, It could even score
better , However it lost some games on time .. Don t
know if this a GUI issue ...
10 / Scorpio SMP : I add the top free WB engine just
to see how it could play vs strong commercial
11/ Crafty did well vs opponent a lot stronger than
his level
